Kingshot Aena & Isnor Guide: New Master Skills, Level Tables, and Who to Skip
Kingshot added two new Masters to the Master Academy, and they could not be more different. Aena, the Caravan Queen, is built entirely around Merchant Empire caravans: faster routes, extra loot from raids, unraidable Elite Strongboxes, and guaranteed Legendary Caravans. Isnor, the Legendary Explorer, is built around Eternity's Reach: permanent Squad Lethality and Health in that mode, massive Deployment Capacity, extra XP from Cesares Guards, and a passive Copper Ore income that also pays out Charm Designs and Charm Guides.
The short version: Isnor is the better investment for most accounts, because his combat stats apply to every Eternity's Reach battle and his economy skills run passively. Aena is a skip unless you grind caravans daily — every point of her kit only pays off inside the Merchant Empire loop.

Aena: the Merchant Empire caravan specialist
Aena's kit makes the caravan loop — escorting your own caravans and raiding other players' caravans — more profitable. At low Relationship levels her profile shows Squad Attack and Defense bonuses on the panel (the in-game profile showed +2.03% / +2.03% at Affinity Lv.7), and all four of her skills activate inside the Merchant Empire event.

If you need a refresher on how escorting, refreshing, and raiding work before reading her skills, the Alliance Brawl guide covers how Merchant Empire caravans feed into alliance event scoring.
1. Beneficient Mogul: raid-window Attack and Defense
Aena's expertise passive, Beneficient Mogul, increases Squad Attack and Defense by a scaling amount when suffering or conducting raids. It starts at +2% and follows the standard Master curve to +30% at level 11:
| Level | Troop Attack | Troop Defense | Power |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 2% | 2% | 58,000 |
| 2 | 4% | 4% | 116,000 |
| 3 | 6% | 6% | 174,000 |
| 4 | 9% | 9% | 232,000 |
| 5 | 12% | 12% | 290,000 |
| 6 | 15% | 15% | 348,000 |
| 7 | 18% | 18% | 406,000 |
| 8 | 21% | 21% | 464,000 |
| 9 | 24% | 24% | 522,000 |
| 10 | 27% | 27% | 580,000 |
| 11 | 30% | 30% | 638,000 |

Note the condition: this bonus does nothing outside caravan raids, unlike Isnor's all-battle Lethality and Health.
2. Shortcuts: faster caravans and a free refresh
Shortcuts uses Aena's secret caravan routes to shorten journey times by 2%, and her reputation with clients grants 1 more free refresh per caravan at level 1. It unlocks at Acquaintance 1 Affinity. The two effects compound nicely for players who refresh caravans hunting SSR quality — more refreshes and shorter trips mean more caravans completed per day.

3. Finder's Keepers: extra cargo from every raid
Finder's Keepers gives a chance to find 1 extra cargo item during successful raids, as bonus Extra Plunder. It scales from 10% to a guaranteed drop at level 10:
| Level | Reward Chance | Power |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | 10% | 18,000 |
| 2 | 20% | 36,000 |
| 3 | 30% | 54,000 |
| 4 | 40% | 72,000 |
| 5 | 50% | 90,000 |
| 6 | 60% | 108,000 |
| 7 | 70% | 126,000 |
| 8 | 80% | 144,000 |
| 9 | 90% | 162,000 |
| 10 | 100% | 180,000 |

4. Delivery Drive: steal cargo back and escort Elite Strongboxes
Delivery Drive does two things. First, when Aena's caravan is raided, she has a chance of turning the tables and recovering 1 item of cargo. Second, from skill level 6, she escorts additional Elite Strongboxes that cannot be raided. Each strongbox contains one of the following at random:
| Elite Strongbox contents | Amount | Chance |
|---|---|---|
| Gems | 1,000 | 14.200% |
| Truegold | 5 | 14.300% |
| Mythic General Hero Shard | 1 | 14.300% |
| Artisan's Vision | 2 | 14.300% |
| Charm Design | 2 | 14.300% |
| Charm Guide | 2 | 14.300% |
| Forgehammer | 1 | 14.300% |

This is the strongest reason to invest in Aena if you run caravans daily: Truegold, Mythic hero shards, Forgehammers, and Charm materials from an unraidable box are account-progression gold. The Truegold requirements data page and the Governor Charm data page show what those materials feed into.
5. Trading Ace: guaranteed Legendary Caravans
Trading Ace is Aena's signature skill. After a number of completed escort missions, her next caravan is guaranteed Legendary quality, and its quality will not decrease when refreshed. Legendary Caravans offer better overall rewards, with especially valuable rewards in 3 cargo slots. At level 10 she also escorts 1 additional caravan each day (your baseline is 4 departures per day).
| Level | Completions Needed | Extra Attempts | Power |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 12 | – | 98,000 |
| 2 | 11 | – | 196,000 |
| 3 | 10 | – | 294,000 |
| 4 | 9 | – | 392,000 |
| 5 | 8 | – | 490,000 |
| 6 | 7 | – | 588,000 |
| 7 | 6 | – | 686,000 |
| 8 | 5 | – | 784,000 |
| 9 | 4 | – | 882,000 |
| 10 | 4 | +1 | 980,000 |

The practical loop: at max level you need only 4 caravan completions to charge a guaranteed Legendary caravan, and you get a 5th daily departure to charge it faster.
Isnor: the Eternity's Reach combat and economy Master
Isnor's kit pays out in the mode where your marches actually fight: Eternity's Reach. His profile carries Squad Lethality and Health bonuses (the in-game profile showed +1.80% / +1.80% at Affinity Lv.4), and his skills stack extra XP, Deployment Capacity, and a passive Copper Ore engine on top.

For how Isnor's Copper Ore, Frontier Skills, and charm rewards fit into your wider account progression, see the Kingshot Mastery guide.
1. Old Hand: Lethality and Health in every Eternity's Reach battle
Isnor's expertise passive, Old Hand, increases Squad Lethality and Health in all Eternity's Reach battles. It uses the same curve as Aena's expertise but applies to every fight in the mode, not just raids:
| Level | Troop Lethality | Troop Health | Power |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 2% | 2% | 72,000 |
| 2 | 4% | 4% | 144,000 |
| 3 | 6% | 6% | 216,000 |
| 4 | 9% | 9% | 288,000 |
| 5 | 12% | 12% | 360,000 |
| 6 | 15% | 15% | 432,000 |
| 7 | 18% | 18% | 504,000 |
| 8 | 21% | 21% | 576,000 |
| 9 | 24% | 24% | 648,000 |
| 10 | 27% | 27% | 720,000 |
| 11 | 30% | 30% | 792,000 |

Because Squad Lethality and Health are the two stats that decide Eternity's Reach trades, this passive is the single strongest reason to build Isnor.
2. Frontier Master: extra XP from Cesares Guards
Frontier Master grants 5% to 50% extra XP for Frontier Skill upgrades when your squads defeat Cesares Guards in Eternity's Reach:
| Level | Extra XP | Power |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | 5% | 18,000 |
| 2 | 10% | 36,000 |
| 3 | 15% | 54,000 |
| 4 | 20% | 72,000 |
| 5 | 25% | 90,000 |
| 6 | 30% | 108,000 |
| 7 | 35% | 126,000 |
| 8 | 40% | 144,000 |
| 9 | 45% | 162,000 |
| 10 | 50% | 180,000 |

Guard farming is the main Frontier Skill leveling loop, so this effectively speeds up your entire Eternity's Reach skill tree.
3. Survival Skills: Deployment Capacity and faster hero recovery
Survival Skills brings battlefield first aid into Eternity's Reach: +5,000 Squad Deployment Capacity per squad and hero recovery after defeat shortened by 6% at level 1:
| Level | Deployment Capacity | Hero Recovery | Power |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 5,000 | 6% | 18,000 |
| 2 | 10,000 | 12% | 36,000 |
| 3 | 15,000 | 18% | 54,000 |
| 4 | 20,000 | 24% | 72,000 |
| 5 | 25,000 | 30% | 90,000 |
| 6 | 30,000 | 36% | 108,000 |
| 7 | 35,000 | 42% | 126,000 |
| 8 | 40,000 | 48% | 144,000 |
| 9 | 45,000 | 54% | 162,000 |
| 10 | 50,000 | 60% | 180,000 |

+50,000 Deployment Capacity at max level is enormous in a mode where marches cap on capacity, and 60% faster hero recovery keeps your strongest heroes back in the field instead of recovering after a lost fight.
4. Unexpected Benefits: Charm Designs from Copper Ore
Unexpected Benefits pays out Charm crafting materials: every time you obtain 200,000 Copper Ore in the Eternity's Reach event, Isnor finds you bonus Charm Designs:
| Level | Charm Designs per 200k Ore | Power |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | 6 | 70,000 |
| 2 | 12 | 140,000 |
| 3 | 18 | 210,000 |
| 4 | 24 | 280,000 |
| 5 | 30 | 350,000 |
| 6 | 36 | 420,000 |
| 7 | 42 | 490,000 |
| 8 | 48 | 560,000 |
| 9 | 54 | 630,000 |
| 10 | 60 | 700,000 |

5. Backchannels: a passive Copper Ore engine
Backchannels is Isnor's signature skill and the reason he is never a dead investment. He obtains Copper Ore passively, every minute, plus bonus Charm Guides on every 200,000 Copper Ore secured in the event:
| Level | Copper Ore per Minute | Charm Guides per 200k Ore | Power |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 500 | 10 | 98,000 |
| 2 | 1,000 | 20 | 196,000 |
| 3 | 1,500 | 30 | 294,000 |
| 4 | 2,000 | 40 | 392,000 |
| 5 | 2,500 | 50 | 490,000 |
| 6 | 3,000 | 60 | 588,000 |
| 7 | 3,500 | 70 | 686,000 |
| 8 | 4,000 | 80 | 784,000 |
| 9 | 4,500 | 90 | 882,000 |
| 10 | 5,000 | 100 | 980,000 |

At level 10 that is 7.2 million passive Copper Ore per day before you play a single fight, plus 100 Charm Guides on every 200k milestone. Charm Guides and Charm Designs are exactly what the Governor Charm system consumes.
Affinity (Relationship) roadmap shared by both Masters
Both Masters level their skills through Master Affinity. Every 10 Relationship levels adds +0.60% to their panel stat and raises the Expertise passive by one level, and each tier unlocks the next skill:
| Affinity | Status | Panel Bonus | Expertise | Skill Unlocked |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Lv.1 | Stranger | +0.60% | Lv.1 | — |
| Lv.10 | Acquaintance 1 | +1.20% | Lv.2 | Skill 1 (Shortcuts / Frontier Master) |
| Lv.20 | Acquaintance 2 | +1.80% | Lv.3 | Skill 2 (Finder's Keepers / Survival Skills) |
| Lv.30 | Acquaintance 3 | +2.40% | Lv.4 | Skill 3 (Delivery Drive / Unexpected Benefits) |
| Lv.40 | Casual 1 | +3.00% | Lv.5 | Skill 4 (Trading Ace / Backchannels) |
| Lv.50 | Casual 2 | +3.60% | Lv.6 | — |
| Lv.60 | Casual 3 | +4.20% | Lv.7 | — |
| Lv.70 | Close 1 | +4.80% | Lv.8 | — |
| Lv.80 | Close 2 | +5.40% | Lv.9 | — |
| Lv.90 | Close 3 | +6.00% | Lv.10 | — |
| Lv.100 | Kindred Soul | +6.60% | Lv.11 (max) | — |

The key breakpoints: Affinity Lv.40 (Casual 1) unlocks the signature skills — Trading Ace for Aena and Backchannels for Isnor — so that is the first major milestone to target on whichever Master you choose. Estimate the gift cost with the Master Relationship Calculator.
What a maxed Master looks like
The video benchmarks both newcomers against existing Masters so you can see where they land:
- Cassia (Kindred Soul, Affinity Lv.100): 9,627,160 Power, Squad Lethality and Health +20.00%, Expertise Lv.11 — the ceiling for a combat-focused Master, with her own Research track on top.
- Guinevere (Casual 3, Affinity Lv.65): 3,157,500 Power, Squad Lethality and Health +9.98%, Expertise Lv.7 — a mid-progress combat Master for comparison.
- Pan (Close 2): his Efficient Reserves skill at Lv.9 grants 4 Reserve Chests every 120 gathering minutes, daily limit 26 — an example of how economy Masters scale.
Against those benchmarks, both Aena and Isnor start modest (349,600 and 396,000 Power at low Affinity). Their long-term value is in the skill tracks above, not the day-one panel numbers. Full upgrade costs per level live in the Kingshot Masters Database and the Master Upgrade Planner.
Final recommendation: build Isnor first, skip Aena unless you grind caravans
Build Isnor first. His Old Hand passive (+30% Lethality and Health at max) applies to every Eternity's Reach battle, Survival Skills adds up to +50,000 Deployment Capacity and 60% faster hero recovery, Frontier Master accelerates your Frontier Skill tree, and Backchannels prints 7.2 million passive Copper Ore per day with Charm Designs and Charm Guides on top. None of that requires you to change how you play.
Skip Aena for now if you only do casual caravan escorts. Her Expertise only activates during caravan raids, and her skills only improve Merchant Empire outcomes. She becomes worth the Manuscripts when you tick these boxes:
- You complete all 4 daily caravan departures most days.
- You actively raid other players' caravans (Finder's Keepers and Beneficient Mogul pay out here).
- You want unraidable Elite Strongboxes for Truegold, Mythic hero shards, and Forgehammers.
- You refresh caravans chasing the best cargo — Trading Ace's guaranteed Legendary Caravan with 3 premium slots is the strongest reward-per-refresh effect in the event.
If you do commit to Aena, prioritize her to Affinity Lv.40 to unlock Trading Ace, then push Trading Ace toward level 9–10 where the Legendary Caravan threshold drops to 4 completions. For Isnor, the same Affinity Lv.40 target unlocks Backchannels, and every level of Old Hand along the way is a permanent combat stat in Eternity's Reach.
For side-by-side cost planning between Isnor, Aena, Wilson, and Guinevere, use the Master Upgrade Planner, and see the Wilson & Guinevere guide for how the older Masters compare.
