Plan the whole kingdom, not just one hive

The Kingshot Alliance Layout Planner is a free territory planner for Kingshot that puts several alliances on one shared kingdom map. Plan KvK positioning, castle sieges and bear-trap hives on the real in-game map β€” the King's Castle, fortresses, sanctuaries, outposts, resource nodes and zone rings are all at their true coordinates, and every placement rule the game enforces is checked as you build.

Everything runs in your browser: no account needed to plan, no installation, and your work auto-saves locally. Coordinates in the tool match in-game X:Y, so you can call positions directly in alliance chat.

Features

πŸ—ΊοΈ

The real kingdom map

Terrain, 6,499 resource nodes, 90 permanent structures, zone rings and the King's exclusion zone β€” calibrated to in-game coordinates with placement rules enforced.

Multiple alliances on one map

Add every alliance in the kingdom, each with its own color, visibility toggle and live banner/TC counters (285 banners, 100 TCs per alliance).

🐻

Solved bear-trap hives

One-click swirl and banner-pad hives computed by an exact set-cover solver: minimum banners, every city fully covered, placed as a movable group.

⚑

Auto-config full alliances

Drop a complete alliance β€” HQ, two bear traps, all 100 TCs and every banner β€” at one of the four best spots near the castle, previewed as a green/red ghost before you commit.

⏱️

March times

Select any trap to see dashed march lines with travel times from every member city of its hive. Calibrate the speed once in Settings.

Live kingdom layer (Pro)

Import real players from your kingdom: alliance-colored cities, TC badges, shields, power and city skins at their true coordinates.

How to plan an alliance layout in 5 steps

  1. 1

    Add your alliances

Create one row per alliance in the Build tab and click a row to make it active β€” every building you place belongs to it.

  2. 2

    Place buildings

Pick a building type, then click the map. The planner blocks illegal spots and tells you exactly which rule applies.

  3. 3

Drop a hive or full alliance

Use the bear-trap presets, the TC block stamp, or Auto-config to place a complete alliance at one of the four best spots.

  4. 4

    Check coverage

Hide TCs and territory shading to confirm every banner connection; select a trap to inspect march times from its hive.

  5. 5

    Share the plan

Export a PNG with the alliance legend for Discord, or save the .json file so co-leads can load and edit the same plan.

Sample layouts

Want to see a finished plan first? Download a complete sample alliance (HQ, two bear traps, all 100 member cities and every banner at one of the recommended spots), then open it with the Load button in the planner.

Frequently asked questions

What is the Kingshot Alliance Layout Planner?

A free browser-based territory planner that puts multiple alliances on one shared 1200Γ—1200 kingdom map. Unlike single-alliance builders, it is made for KvK positioning, castle sieges and kingdom-wide territory splits β€” every alliance color-coded on the same map.

Is the map real?

Yes. The planner overlays the verified fixed Kingshot map skeleton: the King's Castle with four turrets, all 90 permanent structures (4 fortresses, 12 sanctuaries and every outpost type) with their no-build zones, all 6,499 resource nodes, mountains, lakes and the resource-level rings. Coordinates match the in-game axis exactly.

Does it enforce in-game placement rules?

It mirrors them: nothing can be placed on structures, terrain, nodes or the King's zone; alliance buildings, nodes and traps are blocked in the Ruins ring; HQs are limited to the Plains and Badlands rings; banners are blocked inside outpost no-build zones while cities stay exempt at fortresses and sanctuaries. It even warns you when a banner claims an outpost whose type and tier your alliance already has, because duplicate buffs do not stack.

How do bear-trap hives work here?

Two ready-made hive layouts β€” the flush swirl (50 cities, 7 banners) and the banner-pad (50 cities, 10 banners) β€” are solved offline with an exact set-cover optimization so every trap and city sits fully inside banner territory. Place one as a group, rotate it, or drop a complete 100-member alliance in one click with Auto-config.

Can I see real players from my kingdom?

Pro members can import their kingdom's live player layer: every in-game city appears at its real coordinate, colored by alliance, with TC level, power, shield status and city skins. Name a member city after a player and the planner automatically links their live data to your plan.

How do I share a layout with my co-leads?

Save the layout as a .json file and send it to your co-leads β€” they load it with the Load button and see the exact same plan. Work is also auto-saved in your browser, and the PNG export includes an alliance legend ready for Discord.

Does it work on mobile?

Yes. The map supports touch panning and pinch-zoom, and the sidebar collapses into a drawer on small screens.

Data accuracy: map, structure and node positions are community-calibrated data spot-verified against in-game landmarks. Footprints and territory sizes are estimates and can vary by server generation β€” everything is editable in Settings. If something looks off on your server, compare it with the in-game X:Y before relying on it.
